On The Green 3/4/5/ July 2020 Allington Lincolnshire
Gin and Pimms
On The Green goes glam with the only all female Slade tribute. Slady are going down a storm across the UK and their show headlines our opening night. We'll be adding support soon.
Get out your dancing shoes. Saturday's headliners are the sensational Motown Review - an 11 piece motown/soul band with three vocalists, a horn section and a funky percussionist.
Sunday sees the return of the car show in the middle of the village, stalls, and period songs from Miss Charlotte Porter. There'll be gin and Pimms and we'll try and get a flypast too.
On The Green is back for 2020. We're starting early this year and tickets are now on sale. Details are below.
If you've never been before you'll find live music, a beer festival and on Sunday a car show right in the heart of the village. Most of the music takes place at the Welby Arms where we provide a covered area in the rear courtyard for stage and audience. This area is also home to the beer festival. Things move away from the pub on Sunday when the car show takes centre stage on and around the village green. We charge for the live music on Friday and Saturday evenings but the rest of the event is free.
In due course we will add more information about support artists, DJ's, cars, retail, food and other activities. Please bookmark this site where we will be adding regular news stories.
Tickets are only required for the live music on Friday and Saturday evening. A weekend ticket costs £19. Friday only is £10 and Saturday only is £14. We hope to be able to add support artists to the bill on both nights and on Saturday we have guest DJ Soul Sully. Tickets will be available from Allington Stores and The Welby Arms. They can also be purchased online - you can do it below.
